Pre-check
An initial picture of whether there are assets in the name of the person concerned in the country concerned and what type of assets they are, without further in-depth investigation. Usually within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving all the required details.

A full and detailed picture: address, land registry data, method of acquisition, co-ownership, ownership share and sources, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of your confirmation of the assignment and receipt of the required details and documents.

Where relevant and possible, we have the investigated real estate valued by a local estate agent or sworn appraiser. The substantiated valuation is included in the report.

Seizure and enforcement constitute a separate procedure, carried out through the competent local legal professionals and authorities.

Reporting
You receive a clear report in English with the findings, the substantiation and an explanation of the limitations of the investigation. Your organisation assesses the findings and decides on the next steps. If the report is submitted as evidence, the judge assesses its evidential value.
Explanation and aftercare
We continue to support you after delivery. We answer questions about the findings, provide explanations to the lawyers involved or the court where necessary and, on request, arrange a sworn translation of the source documents.
