Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website, including people with a visual, auditory, motor or cognitive impairment. We therefore follow the WCAG 2.2 guidelines (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), level AA, the standard that the European standard EN 301 549 also refers to.

This website partially complies with WCAG 2.2 level AA. A technical check in November 2026 (automated test with axe-core and a manual keyboard test) showed that most pages are in order. The points that are still open are listed below. We are resolving them step by step and will update this statement afterwards.

• Structure: every page has one main heading, a logical heading order and recognisable page regions (header, navigation, main content, footer).
• Keyboard: menus, buttons, expandable questions and forms can be operated with the keyboard. A skip link takes you straight to the content and the Escape key closes the mobile menu.
• Visible focus: the position of the keyboard focus is visible, including on the blue bars.
• Text and contrast: text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content. Text and buttons have a contrast of at least 4.5:1.
• Images: informative images have a text alternative; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Forms: fields have a visible label, required fields are indicated and error messages are given in text.
• Language: the language of each page is set in the code (Dutch, English, French or German), so that screen readers use the correct pronunciation.
• Motion: animations are limited and respect the system setting “reduced motion” where we use them.

• Contrast on photo backgrounds: for some headings above a photo with a blue overlay, the contrast of white text may locally fall just below 4.5:1. We are adjusting the overlay.
• Form fields: autocomplete for name, organisation, e-mail and telephone is not yet set on all fields.
• Cookie banner: the banner is provided by an external supplier. We periodically check that it remains fully operable with the keyboard.
• Documents: reports and attachments that we send by e-mail are not always formatted as accessible PDFs. On request we provide an accessible version.
